ZM Heaters have introduced a new larger heater ahead of the 2014-2015 season as part of strategic drive to develop the ZM Heaters brand; this has also seen the introduction of a new range of diesel space heaters.
The ZM-150 will deliver a gross output of 30 – 52 kW, a maximum of 170,000 Btu. This is 73% more gross heat than the ZM-130 model that proved so popular last season. The heater is expected to appeal strongly to commercial vehicle, agricultural, industrial and larger automotive workshops. ZM-150 includes a high capacity blower fan and heat exchanger to raise efficiency. Once this greater efficiency is considered, ZM-150 generates up to double the usable heat of ZM-130.
“ZM-150 is an exciting addition,” said ZM Heaters’ MD James Onions. “The reality was we had no heater available to compete effectively with the larger manual ignition heaters of other suppliers.
“We’ve now gone from having a significant gap in the range to having a brand new heater that’s going to deliver higher specification at a lower price point than alternatives.”
ZM-150 has been re-engineered to iron out reliability problems that have been encountered with similar heaters. The combustion trays have been designed not to crack and the burner chamber lids won’t warp.
Availability is expected to be limited during the first season so customers are advised to register interest early.
